When you want that large ensemble sound, but you are on a budget. Choose Le Su B. She often have people thinking they are listening to a CD, when it's the real thing.
My music is just what any event, party, roast, toast, etc. needs. I am different and new to the area. I bring about a freshness that is just that, a breath of fresh air.
I am Leisa Brown. I am originally from Newark, New Jersey. I attended Arts High School and Florida A&M University, where I graduated with a Bachelors of Criminal Justice Degree.
I am a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society and National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa (Pfessional Teacher Sorority).
I continued my music career in Memphis, TN where Saxagrams by Soft Notes was formed.
I was Memphis' only one woman band and was honored to have played for many top corporations, as well as many government agencies, including both city and county mayors. I participated in numerous festivals as well as performing for the 100 Black Women and Men of Memphis, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. I did numerous weddings, where I performed music for the wedding and deejayed the receptions.
I have played in the Virgin Islands as well as on the Carnival Cruise Lines.
My video Linda's Theme was featured on BET in 1996. I have since produced three CD's; Collard Greens and Some More Stuff, The Remix and Live at the Blue Mirror.
Now back in my hometown I am trying to make my music happen.
Besides music, I am an Advocate with Seton Hall Upward Bound Program as well as a Teacher (academic and music).
